Almost Done

It's been a very crazy & rough few days (more on that later)...

But, I did want to mention that today is Isabel's last softball practice and tomorrow is her last game.
That is, unless she makes the All-Star team (which she tried out for on Saturday night). We won't know about that until late May. And the cost is going to be fun (not!) - as it's basically club ball. She REALLY wanted to tryout though - and she's done such a great job this season, how could we say no?

Besides... we figure if we invest now, it will come back to us when she earns scholarships for her awesomeness. Right?!

Isabel had her softball Opening Ceremonies today! To try and make it go as smoothly as possible, just her and I went. I am the Team Mom, after all.

Her first game is on Tuesday night.... Today was just a parade, some bonding time, and team and individual pictures.

Her team has been practicing like crazy and they are doing a wonderful job learning the ropes and getting to know each other (very important in softball, me thinks).

Dragon LOVER of Softball

First, my dragon lover:

Found this while searching through my Picasa program. I have so many great pictures saved there. It's fun to go back and reminisce. Nic LOVED his walker - and that dragon!! (Yes, I was - still am? - a big dork, with prolly too much time on my hands!)

And then I found my lover of softball... and with the season starting in 3 weeks, I think the timing is appropriate. Isa will be starting with a new team this year; we can't wait to get started and to meet new people!
